This story teaches about the power of words, and the effects of gossip on oneself. We are usually taught to not speak badly about others so as to not hurt others, but what happens to us when we spread malignant rumours?

NOTES ON THE STYLE

Michela Chiarelli is an Italian traditional healer of Matrilinear descent and multidisciplinary artist. For this tale we wanted to give it a realistic vibe. The book ended up recalling the children’s books of once-upon-a-time. The artwork is original. The technique is charcoal-drawing.
Tanya Gervasi writes mainly poetry and short stories. This tale was born from a personal experience, however the use of mice is purely casual (but also cute).
